My life as I know it

I am thankful for the many wondercul things in my life. I have an amazing husband who spoils me and loves me for me. I have a healthy and handsome son. I am a fur baby-mom. I have a roof over my head and food in my cupboards. I'm alive and healthy. I am a very blessed woman.
Recently I got a positive pregnancy test. First words out of my mouth (and David's) were "oh shit." But we immediately began planning and preparing. Unfortunately our excitement was killed quickly. It was a false positive and it was just one of those times where you're just late. It was hard to take and I cried. A lot. But some snuggles with my son and I remembered that I have everything I need right now. Its only been a few days so sometimes I feel sad but I will get through this. As my husband always says "it will be ok." He's always right about that but shh, don't tell him I said he is right. Haha.
Also recently, I have been asked to be an assistant troop leader for a local Girl Scout Troop. I will give more information on that as it comes.
About a month ago my parents called me in the middle of the night. Not unheard of but it doesn't happen often. They had just been in a car wreck on their way to Lewistown, MT for the drag races (my dad has been doing this for 20+ years). They were going to need a ride home. So at 3am we loaded up our minivan and drove for3 hours on a deer infested highway to pick up my parents that miraculously survived. I'm still really pissed at the drunk driver who caused the accident. I'm not one to hate so fiercely but I am glad he was banged up enough to have to go to the hospital. However, I am glad he survived because  maybe he learned his lesson and will tell other people to not do it. Mostly I'm glad my parents are alive and came out with some minimal bruising and some sore muscles.
I am a lucky woman. :)
