Happy government shutdown day! Ok I know its not happy but I wanted to lighten the mood. This shutdown does affect my family. I've read three or four news website articles and while SNAP (foodstamps) should remain unaffected WIC (women infants and children) is closed. My family receives assistance from WIC. Makes me glad I cashed a voucher last night. Who knows how long funds will last for WIC.
Aside from that today has just been a day. Except small children really wanted to pestering me today. So did my dog. Now I must put my chunky monkey to bed. Even though he's currently enjoying Avatar: The Last Airbender. Sorry son. Its bedtime. Goodnight.
