After less than 5 hours of sleep since a certain little baby didn't seem to want to sleep last night, we started our morning off not so great. I heard my husband's alarm go off. 8am means its time to wake up, not fall back to sleep. And that's exactly what David did. Normally I stay awake cause I get paranoid about everything, including my husband making it to work on time but today I also fell asleep again after his alarm went off.
Now my husband also has an alarm signaling its 5 minutes to 9am since he can easily walk to work and he has to leave by 9 to make it there on time. That alarm went off and it was a rush. This meant I had to get William ready to go too and I had no time to breastfeed him before leaving. David made a bottle, I changed William's dirty diaper, packed the diaper bag and we were out. Good thing William falls asleep when the car is moving cause he didn't get to eat very much when we had to get in the car. Once again, thank God for caffeine.
Once home, I finished feeding my little bundle of joy his factory made crap (I really don't like feeding him formula) and he fell asleep for a few minutes but as soon as I put him down he was not happy. I eventually had to feed him again, this time with a boob instead of a bottle, to get him to settle down. He's been asleep for the last 2 hours (hallelujah) which means I should be too, but I think I will wait till after lunch time or when he wakes up again. Falling asleep now means I have to move him since I'm half laying half sitting since I was feeding him. He's comfortably asleep on my chest currently (he really likes to sleep there).
On another note: while I was breastfeeding William this morning, I realized I put his pants on backwards. Oops.
